Why Fivor exists

I wanted to change the way I eat — and suddenly found myself wondering what on earth we were supposed to cook now. Out of curiosity, my wife and I asked an AI. It gave us suggestions and talked us through the cooking, and it worked surprisingly well.

But it stayed piecemeal. The suggestions were in one place, the shopping in another. And then there was getting a shared household to agree. That was the moment I realised how much more AI could do for everyday eating — and that I wanted to set it loose on the problem. Fivor grew out of that.

What Fivor does differently

An assistant, not a catalogue

Your AI nutrition assistant — from principle to plate.

Fivor is the nutrition assistant that understands how you want to eat — and helps you act on it every day. Personal. Intelligent. Built for real life.

  • Understands you

How you want to eat, what you cannot tolerate, how much time you have, how many you cook for — Fivor keeps track.

  • Thinks along

Hectic week? Guests coming? Child off sick? Fivor adjusts its suggestions to the life you are actually living.

  • For the whole household

One shared plan, different needs — an assistant that gets everyone under one roof.

  • Share and agree

Settle together what is going on the table tonight.

  • Shopping list

Every recipe turns into a shopping list — with what you actually still need.

  • Speaks your language

Available in ten languages — from German and English to Chinese and Japanese.

Fivor does not get to know you through a form, but through an actual conversation. Your questions, your preferences and your everyday life build a profile that gets better with every exchange.

Who it’s for

Who is Fivor for?

For everyday cooking with a steady rhythm — or with plenty of variety and spur-of-the-moment decisions.

For anyone who wants to shape the way they eat on purpose.

People with demanding jobs, families, anyone with intolerances or a clear idea about food.

For anyone open to inspiration and a hand with running the kitchen.

How it works

Three steps to get going

  1. 01

    Tell it how you eat

The nicest way is simply to talk: the AI asks, you answer in your own words. If you would rather fill in fields, you can do that instead. A few answers are enough to start.

  2. 02

    Let Fivor suggest

Fivor proposes meals that suit you. Or have it create a dish to your own specification.

  3. 03

    Plan and shop

Move the meals into your week. The shopping list builds itself from your plan.

And it stays a conversation: you can have any dish adjusted at any time. You can also ask the AI to review your profile and talk through where there is room to improve.

Day to day

What you’ll actually use Fivor for

  • Sunday evening, no idea

The week is about to start and your head is empty. One tap on weekly planning — and the plan is there.

  • At the supermarket

No scrap of paper, nothing forgotten. The list follows from what you already decided to cook. You just tick things off as they go into the trolley.

  • A half-empty fridge

Tell Fivor what is there. You get a recipe out of it — instead of driving back to the shop.

  • A recipe that almost fits

A new idea, a missing ingredient, a portion size that does not match what you need? Fivor suggests alternatives, scales the recipe and works around the gap.

Give it a try

Fivor runs in the browser and as an app on iPhone.

Your data sits on secure servers in Germany, in line with the GDPR. Only ever your dietary details go to the AI — no name, no identity attached. Which meal belongs to whom is known solely to our own server.
